Thank you for purchasing FontDoctor, the professional tool that takes the work out of locating, diagnosing and repairing the most common font problems, allowing you to stay focused on the task at hand.

System Requirements
  • Windows 2000, XP or Vista
  • 128 Megabytes of RAM
  • 7 Megabytes of hard disk space
Installing FontDoctor
  1. Depending on how you received FontDoctor, extract the zip archive, or insert the disc.
  2. Double click the FontDoctor Installer icon to run the installer.
  3. Follow the installation instructions.
  4. After installation, launch FontDoctor.
  5. When prompted, enter your name, company name and serial number that was provided to you in email or on the product disc.
  6. Click OK.

  • Fixed a number of display issues with the user interface.

Fixed issues

The following is a list of the fixed issues in this release. This list does not include all addressed issues, but contains the majority of changes.

Fixed in 2.6

ID Description
A Fixed some issues that would display NilObjectException errors.
B Fixed an issue that would cause FontDoctor to close unexpectedly when moving fonts to the Recycle Bin.
C Fixed a number of display issues (icon masks, buttons and fields not moving when a window is resized, and so forth).
